Báté's cemetery

30. CARVED STONE
This piece of limestone is a fragment of half a column from the Báté church.

33. GOLD PLATED BUTTONS
These small rosette-patterned bronze buttons with gilded ears belonged to a child’s
skeleton, and the child”s remains were found in a masonry crypt in which five other
children and adults – presumably belonging to the Báté noble family – were laid to rest.

34. ORIGINAL BRONZE DECORATIONS OF A BELT
The bronze remains of the belt were found in a little girl”s grave outside of the Báté church
buckles, hole protectors and strap end.

58. BELT BUCKLE
The trapezoidal buckle and the associated belt protection plate decorated with scratches
belonged to a XIV-XV. century belt.
