13. LARD CONTAINER
The home-made duck or goose fat was usually kept in a pot of this size in the pantry, and
it held five litres of fat.
21. CANDLE HOLDER
The upper part of the candle holder is metal, the lower part is wood, and its shape was
formed in such a way that it can be placed on a table and to be carried.
70. MANGLE
The mangle was the predecessor of the iron, the linens were smoothed, „ironed” with it
after washing the linen was rolled up on the wood, then rolled with the ribbed half of the
mangle.
280. JUG
This jug was glazed only on the inside, curd was prepared and stored in it, which was a
popular food especially in summer, but it was also consumed on fasting days.
281. SIEVE
When sifting the flour, the improperly ground parts or other impurities are suspended, and
the flour becomes more airy and lighter, which makes the dough finer and lighter in
texture.
