It was formed in 2001 by approximately 50 members. It takes part in the activities of the Museum of protecting and conveying values and building community.
It helps to prepare and execute programs.
Since its establishment they have organized waste collection in the area of the Roman bath and the military camp several times. The scientific educational lectures of the Museum are organized and assisted by the Circle as well.
Every year, they organize the contests of local clubs of pensioners and students in remembrance of Illés Ferenczy’s and Ildikó Poroszlai’s life-work.
Membership fee is 1000 HUF per year. By paying this, the members receive a discount while visiting the programs of the Museum and the Archaeological Park.
